My research focuses on shaping the design, development, and deployment of artificial intelligence to ensure its reliability, safety, and societal benefit. I am broadly interested in foundational aspects of Machine Learning (ML), particularly in advancing techniques for bias mitigation, fairness, and the ethical deployment of AI systems.

I explore challenges in robustness, safety, and policy design by leveraging methods from game theory and reinforcement learning. These approaches are critical to creating adaptive, reliable AI systems that can function effectively in dynamic and uncertain environments.
